This summer the Milan Junior Camps will once again cross the ocean, making stops in 23 North American cities between the United States and Canada
AC Milan is pleased to announce the return of the Milan Junior Camp project to North America, offering younger generations of 24 cities in the United States and Canada a summer full of activities and new experiences, and providing the Club with the opportunity to continue its global growth and strengthen its connection with a strategic market.
Starting from June until August, the new season of the Milan Junior Camps will kick off, covering much of the United States and Canada and expanding compared to the past, reaching a total of 24 cities.
California, Florida, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Texas will be the states hosting the camps in the US territory. In addition to these, Virginia will also join the initiative, where the project will be carried out by the AC Milan Academy Virginia, officially launched at the end of last year.
Simultaneously, the Milan Junior Camps will cross the border, landing in two Canadian provinces of Ontario and Quebec, regions where they will return for the second consecutive year.
The Milan Junior Camps are an incredible opportunity for boys and girls aged 6 to 16 who want to get closer to soccer, representing an engaging and educational project aimed at consolidating and enhancing the motor, technical, tactical, and psychological skills of aspiring soccer players through playful activities focused on both athletic and personal growth.
The training sessions, personally supervised by the Official Milan Academy Coaches, are based on the integrated approach of the Milan Method, which focuses on enhancing the potential of young participants through activities aimed at individual improvement, achievable also thanks to the comparison with the positive values of sport and the Rossoneri Club, such as respect for rules, teamwork, inclusion, and sharing the same passion.
Franco Baresi, Honorary Vice President of AC Milan, commented on the initiative saying: “The wide support of fans in North America confirms the strength and importance of the Rossoneri family across the ocean, and we are thrilled to offer young people the opportunity to grow in the world of soccer, promoting positive values and fueling passion for our Club. The Milan Junior Camps reflect the Club’s commitment to significantly contribute to the personal growth of participating children and teenagers, with the aim of leaving an indelible mark on their development journey.”
AC Milan midfielder and captain of the USMNT, Christian Pulisic, added: “Football is not just a game, but a vehicle for values that go beyond the field, and as an American, seeing how the passion for this sport has been growing more and more in North America in recent years makes me truly proud. That is precisely why I believe it is important to support initiatives like the Milan Junior Camps, which aim to promote healthy sporting values to younger generations; a goal that already sees me personally involved in the American territory. I am delighted that the Club I play for shares with me this positive vision and wants to promote and cultivate the love for this magnificent sport and for the Rossoneri colors globally.”
The arrival of the Milan Junior Camps on North American territory underlines the strong bond that ties AC Milan to North America. With 46 million fans in the US and Canada and recognition as the best-regarded Italian football club in the United States according to international market research by YouGov, AC Milan is deeply rooted in the American sports landscape.
The Club’s partnerships with the New York Yankees and YES Network, the recent launch of the Fourth kit with partner PUMA and the Los Angeles streetwear brand PLEASURES – the most successful kit launch event in the Club’s history – as well as last summer’s Pre-Season Tour on the West Coast, represent some of the highlights that testify to the Club’s presence and influence in North America.
